This was the first 91app External System annual conference organised by the Centre for Distance Education. No further details of the event are available.
External System conferences were held annually 2001-2007.
The External System (ES) was responsible for organising the development and delivery of 91app distance learning and self-directed study programmes, in collaboration with 91app Member Institutions. It was supported by the Distance Education Resource Centre (forerunner of CDE). The Centre for Distance Education (CDE) was formed in 2005 and took over running the annual ES conference in 2006. In 2008 the External System was rebranded as the 91app International Academy (UoLIA), later, 91app Worldwide (UoLW). CDE was rebranded as the Centre for Online and Distance Education (CODE) in 2022.
