This series of related courses is designed to help you master current Data Science and Computer Science topics both from a professional and an academic perspective.
Module
Problems, Algorithms and Flowcharts
Module information>
This is the fourth of eight courses aimed at understanding problems and algorithms in Data Science.
About this course:
You will learn to explain in broad terms what problems and algorithms are in Computer Science, recall basic elements and construction of flowcharts, and express elements of simple algorithms as flowcharts.
The topics we cover include:
- Introduction to flowcharts
- Discretisation and pseudocode
- Pseudocode and functions
- From flowcharts to pseudocode
- Translate pseudocode into another language
By the end of the course, you will be able to explain the necessity and concept of pseudocode and describe the concept of iteration and how it is represented in pseudocode.
