London Research & Policy Partnership

Regional Masterclasses

Welcome to our innovative training programme, crafted to bridge the gap between research, policy, and practice, for better Research-Policy-Practice partnerships

Welcome to our innovative training programme which is designed to foster meaningful collaborations, enhance essential skills, and drive evidence-based policymaking within the London region. By bringing together academic researchers, policy professionals, and practitioners, we aim to cultivate a new generation of leaders equipped to tackle pressing societal issues through informed, strategic action.

Participants will gain valuable insights and practical skills tailored to their unique professional needs. Our bespoke approach prioritises capacity building for those working at every intersection of research-policy-practice engagement.

Underpinning this programme is an evidence base generated by our policy fellows who sought to understand the skills needed to build effective and long-term partnerships between local policymakers, practitioners and researchers. Read more in Dr Sarah Jasim’s blog for Overton .
