Having recently reported from Ukraine, Syria, Israel, Sudan and maybe the most fractious front line of all - Washington DC - Lindsey has seen up close the crumbling of the international order.

As President Trump appears to increasingly align US policy with that of Vladimir Putin's Russia, what hope for Ukraine and Europe? Is the rule of law being systematically undermined in the USA itself and what impact does this have on the global stage? And can western journalists draw attention to neglected conflicts when the news agenda is overwhelmed by seismic events in the US, Europe and the Middle East?

She will be in conversation with international human rights lawyer .
