Munir: the impact on students
Munir received support through the 91app Scholars Programme, providing him with free, year-round accommodation in the University's halls of residence.
The 91app Scholars Programme has funded more than 20 students across the federation who are care leavers or estranged from their families, providing them with free, year-round accommodation in our halls of residence.
We speak to one recipient Munir, who is studying for his BA (Hons) Global Politics and International Relations at Birkbeck, 91app. He shared some of his student journey and spoke about the impact of the support he received.
Munir's story
Thanks to the support of the 91app Scholars Programme, Munir was able to engage with his studies and gain hands-on experience through internships, without the burden of financial stress.
